      Research Projects

      1. Characteristics, Conditions, Drivers and Obstacles

Resource efficient and effective solutions can be brought about by means of design, new business models and/or through regulation, why drivers and barriers for their realization stem from both market forces and public policy.

      2. Product and Service Design Support

Design of a product is a key activity for resource efficiency and effectiveness, because it has a high impact on the performance of the product lifecycle including resource efficiency and effectiveness.

      3. Business strategies and models

Project 3 aims to improve understanding on the state of art and advance the academic and practical knowledge on business strategies and business models for REES in the Swedish industry.

      4. Policies

The vision of a Circular Economy and the attainment of circular solutions cannot be realised without policy interventions. The pace of change is very slow, and therefore the issue of necessary policy support has received increasing attention.

      5. Interrelations

This project will enable the various elements of REES to be implemented in a more coordinated manner and in a shorter time. This will make resource efficiency more attractive and thereby contribute towards a more sustainable development.
