Is it possible to replace today’s all plastic variants with a lower number?

The answer to this question is given in a report from the Unity project that Mistra REES has participated in. The report will be presented in an online seminar on 23 November where Mattias Lindahl from Mistra REES together with Tony Clark from Swedish Waste Management, Åsa Stenmarck from The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and Lennart Johansson from Swedish Plastic Industry Association will take part.

The report is based on 63 interviews with people in the plastics industry, everything from manufacturers of thermoplastics and thermoplastic products, buyers, sellers, trade associations, recycling companies to researchers and experts.
